Following an incredible evening at the Wales Care Awards, we are so proud to announce that our two finalists came home with 3 awards between them!
Waving the SilverCrest flag, was our newly appointed Home Manager at the Hollies, Tracey Frowen who won the Gold award as Nurse of the Year, and Owen Olds, our senior carer at Mill View who won bronze for Supportive Living Care Practitioner. It was then announced that Owen has also won the coveted award of the night and named overall winner of the Spirit of Care Award!
The Spirit of Care Award winner was chosen by the judges from all the finalists and presented the person they felt had that extra ‘special’ something which embodies the true qualities required to provide a person centre social care service.
Well done to Tracey and Owen for being simply fabulous and of course to all our runners up this year and to all at the SilverCrest Group for your support and hard work! We couldn’t ask for a better team. (Also thank you to Jinky from the Hollies for accepting Tracey’s award on her behalf)
