As part of our ongoing well-being programme and person centred care approach at our South Wales care homes, we recently reunited our resident Cyril with his beloved Pontypridd Male Voice choir and this was quite simply one of our favourite moments ever.
Cyril had been a member of the choir for many years and really missed singing with his friends. We wanted to give Cyril a beautiful and magic moment by inviting his friends at the choir and give them the opportunity to together again after much time. All the residents and staff were so proud of Cyril and absolutely loved the performance and enjoyed singing along with them.
There was not a dry eye in the Hollies care home, but the tears were only those of joy. Well done to Nickie our Activities Coordinator for making this dream come true. 👏 A huge thank you to Pontypridd Male Voice Choir for your time and bringing such joy to us all.
