Well-being and life at Mill View
The aim is to ensure everyone is cared for and made to feel safe and secure and to do this Mill View has a dedicated, professional team. They are skilled in nursing and elderly care needs, and promote a sense of family, warmth and comfort.
The residents’ well-being is our priority so they can continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests with us, whether it’s cooking, gardening, exercise, reading, having an afternoon in our ‘Creaky Joints’ pub, or taking trips in the community, or simply admiring the stunning mountain views of the Rhondda Valleys, we will help to engage them in any way we can. We have a carefully structured weekly planner which is designed with residents’ interests in mind.
Inclusion and being heard is of the utmost importance, so residents are invited to monthly meetings where they have their say about everything which makes them happier in their own home. This further enables our team to adopt a person-centred approach to ensure residents live a healthy lifestyle which we believe enhances their mood, morale, independence, memory and sleep.
We aim to enrich residents’ lives beyond their expectations and allow them to live with purpose and fulfilment with our range of focused initiatives and new experiences.
