At SilverCrest we provide the highest quality of care in specially-designed care homes across South Wales. Each of our homes is a real community where residents’ health and well-being are the top priority.

Our staff are caring, respectful and dedicated professionals who share our vision of providing a safe and happy environment. Our residents have the freedom to live as independently as they like, whilst having access to the highest quality care at all times.

SilverCrest is growing; we currently have five care homes, in Ystradgynlais  Swansea Valley, Bridgend, Ystrad Rhondda, Pontypridd and Williamstown, Rhondda. We ensure that each home is unique, reflecting its community and is designed for a variety of specialist care with certain homes specifically designed for dementia care.

We pride ourselves on treating every resident as an individual, offering a range of activities to appeal to all tastes from cooking and baking days and gardening clubs, to singing and music workshops, book clubs and craft fairs. As well as providing the opportunity to try new things, we aim to encourage hobbies and interests residents may already have.

Dr Bikram Choudhary
Dr Bikram ChoudharyCompany Director
The company’s Managing Director is a GP in South Wales becoming director of the first purpose built Care Home, Mill View in Ystrad, Rhondda Cynon Taff in 1992. In 1998 Bikram became a founding shareholder in a care home group which operated 22 care homes in Wales and England.

In 2016 Bikram launched the SilverCrest Care Group which has five care homes across South Wales with the fifth home being a bespoke dementia care facility based in Williamstown.

Bikram is highly motivated and experienced with a proven background in organisation, administration, HR management and customer service.

Rhiannon Ward
Rhiannon WardFinance and Business Manager
Rhiannon joined the SilverCrest Group in 2016 in to the role of Finance Manager. With years of experience in the world of Finance and no experience of working in a care home environment, Rhiannon has gained considerable knowledge of the day to day runnings of a care home.

Rhiannon has excellent people, problem solving and communication skills and has adapted to the SiverCrest ethos.

Rhiannon has now been appointed business manager for the Group in addition to her finance role and divides her time between the homes.
